Privacy Policy
Youngs Scaffolding ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and outlines your privacy rights.
1. Data we collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you, including:
- Identity Data: first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
- Contact Data: billing address, site address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data: internet protocol (IP) address, login data, browser type and version.
2. How we use your data
We use personal data where the law allows us to, including:
- Where we need to perform a contract, such as providing a scaffolding quote.
- Where necessary for legitimate interests, unless your interests and fundamental rights override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
3. Enquiries, drawings and photos
When you send a quote or tender enquiry, we use the details and project information you provide to review and respond to that request. You can optionally attach tender documents or JPG/PNG quote photos after verifying your email with a one-time code. Files are stored privately for authorised staff. No password or separate sign-in page is required. Enquiries without files do not require verification; only completed uploads included in a saved enquiry are treated as received.
4. Website measurement
We record a limited set of first-party, anonymous aggregate website events, such as form starts, contact-link clicks and successful enquiry submissions. These events contain only an allowlisted page path and, where relevant, a service category, broad postcode district, contact channel or enquiry type. They do not include names, contact details, full addresses, enquiry descriptions, file names, advertising identifiers or URL query strings. A successful enquiry event is recorded only after the enquiry has been saved.
First-touch landing and source information is held temporarily in page memory and added to an enquiry record only when you submit an enquiry. If it cannot be captured, the source is recorded as unknown rather than guessed. Optional browser analytics are off unless you actively allow them in the Cookie Policy. Declining them does not disable the enquiry forms or first-party aggregate event recording.
5. Data security
Access to enquiry records is restricted to authorised staff. Contact Youngs Scaffolding if you have questions about your information or wish to exercise your data protection rights.
